How ChatGiZa Agent edits code safely
Plan, diff, approve: the design choices that let a coding agent move quickly without surprising the developer it works for.
A coding agent that edits files is powerful and risky in equal measure. When we built ChatGiZa Agent, we started from one rule: the developer should never be surprised by what changed in their project.
Plan before acting
For any multi-step task, the agent first writes a short plan. Developers can redirect it before a single file changes.
Every change is a diff
Edits are shown as diffs, file by file. Nothing is hidden behind a summary.
Commands need approval
Running a shell command can have side effects outside the project. The agent asks first, and shows exactly what it intends to run.
