Policy
AI should widen economic opportunity, not narrow it
AI will change how people work and earn. Our Economic Opportunity programme studies those changes and helps more people benefit from them.
What we are doing
01
Measure what is changing
Study, with privacy built in, which tasks people use AI for and how that shifts across jobs, industries and countries.
02
Share what we learn
Publish findings openly so that workers, businesses, educators and governments can plan with real evidence.
03
Support small businesses
Make capable AI affordable for the shops, freelancers and start-ups that most economies depend on.
04
Invest in skills
Work with schools, training programmes and nonprofits so that people can learn to use AI well in their own work.
